PB and Jay - Coming Back Soon!

PB and Jay are Giant Tropical Millipedes.  The are native to the jungles of Africa, so they aren't the kind of millipedes you might see in your back yard. Millipedes are important to the ecosystem because they help break down decaying material. Their favorite foods are rotting fruits and veggies, so feel free to bring them in some of your left over lunch!

Maple and Syrup

Sugar and Spice are domesticated feeder mice. Mice are sold in pet stores as food for reptiles, but these guys make great classroom pets. We will use them in laboratory experiments during the scientific method and animal behavior units. The class mice enjoy the occasional carrot and sunflower seed. They dislike being squeezed.
